Our ingredients are all locally sourced in Australia. They come from free-roaming animals and harvested with care and respect for nature. We’re committed to ethical sourcing, ensuring your dog enjoys treats that are as pure and sustainable as they are delicious.

Freeze-drying is a dehydration process that removes water from fresh food through sublimation (when water transitions directly from a solid to a gas state). Freeze-dried dog treats has had almost all of the moisture removed, which creates dog treats that are very safe. In fact, freeze-dried foods can last for years without refrigeration! No chemicals or preservatives are needed because no water is left in the food.

All our treats are sourced and created right here in Australia. You can be assured that all the ingredients are 100% Australian and our treats are produced under the safest conditions in a PrimeSafe accredited facility.

Our treats are single proteins

Everything in our range are single proteins which have either been air dried to perfection or snap frozen, locking in all nutritional value.

Firstly, our proteins are deep frozen for 6 weeks at minimum. 

Natural range: After they have been frozen for minimum 6 weeks, they are then carefully air-dried at 70 degrees Celsius over 3-4 days, removing all moisture and killing any remaining bacteria.

We use good ol' fashion air at 40-70 degrees Celsius to delicately dry our proteins for 24-72 hours

We always recommend supervising and monitoring your dog while they’re consuming a treat or chew, ensuring that you have picked a treat that is size appropriate and appropriate for the chewing style of your dog. If it is your first time feeding bones/natural treats to your dog, please choose carefully! For first timers a gentle treat such as our Jerky or Rabbit Ears are a good starting point.

Dogs have jaws and a teeth structure that is different to humans. They cannot move their jaw side to side to "chew" they can only move their jaw up and down to grind their food. 

Each dog will have its own chew/grind style, it's not a one size fits all approach. Dogs will have chew styles that vary between aggressive chewers/guzzlers who are desperate to finish the treat/chew as fast as they can and others can be a little more maxo relaxo and like to take their time. 

Dogs will naturally swallow food/treats/bones that are just small enough to pass through their oesophagus. If they cannot swallow it whole, they will regurgitate it up and grind it again to make it small enough to swallow. This can be quite distressing for humans to see as we think our dog is choking, so we strongly suggest you supervise your dog and make sure the treats you are giving them are size appropriate for your dog's weight and own chew style. 

On that note chewing is a great stress reliever for your dog! This can help minimise unwanted behaviour such as barking (your neighbours can thank us later) and undesired destruction (yes, we're talking your shoes and your couches.)
We do recommend you let them find a quiet spot to alleviate some anxiety and give their teeth a good clean, however make sure you're always peeping around that corner to make sure they are a-okay! 

Hopefully you would never want to return our treats, but if you must - yes!

If you are unhappy with your purchase, reach out to us via our contact page within 14 days after you receive your treats to organise a return. Alternatively, you may use your customer login profile to organise a hassle-free return. A couple of things though:

All returned products must be unopened and in its original packaging, undamaged and in the same condition that you received it.

We will be deducting the cost of postage returns from the refunded amount 

Your original postage fee will not be refunded

We will provide you with further return instructions once you have emailed us.

If we messed up and you have received the wrong treats than what you ordered, please contact us and we will organise a return accordingly.
